William (Bill) Jarman
Bill is a highly respected dancer, teacher and choreographer who brings to tango a unique combination of creative vision and technical skills honed over decades of working in various forms of dance professionally.
After many years of dancing all around the world Bill returned to his hometown in NZ and started performance tango in 1990 in New Zealand.
In 1995 he undertook post-graduate studies at the Victorian College of the Arts in Dance Choreography, and is a Qualified Tertiary Dance Teacher.
Bill has been operating Tango Bajo in Melbourne since 2003.
Bill is recognised in Argentina & Australia as an exponent of Nuevo Tango.
Tango Bajo run speciality workshops in partnership with some of Melbourne’s best tango teachers; are available for private lessons either at South Yarra, Mornington Peninsula, or alternative location by arrangement; plus hold regular Milongas on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month in South Yarra.
