We might not meet until your first night of class so we thought it would be nice to introduce ourselves!

Meg & Bill ...

Meg Thomson
I’m in the pic on the left … the one with the ponytail (got to admit it was taken a long time ago)! I’m a social dancer and tango event’s organiser.

In February 2021 I moved from Melbourne to settle in Dromana on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula. I don’t drive, so it meant leaving my tango family, regular lessons and milongas (social dancing) behind.

I love tango and rather than give it up I decided ‘why not create a tango community here on the Peninsula’?

I approached my good friend and tango teacher, William (Bill) Jarman, Director and Principal Teacher from Tango Bajo and asked him if he would like to join me and become our resident teacher, and he said yes!

Bill is a fantastic teacher, and an amazing social dancer. He doesn’t just teach you steps. He inspires, teaches and helps you develop into a social dancer.

“Come and join us and be part of our vibrant tango community on The Peninsula.”
